Our Staff

I am a Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist for the Bessemer and Birmingham office locations. I have been through extensive training with Audibel and have received my Audibel Professional Certification. In addition, I have also been trained in Live Speech Mapping, Real Ear Measurement, deep canal impressions, and is proficient with all Audiometric equipment to service your needs. With an understanding of how hearing loss affects clients and their families, I have dedicated myself to educating and counseling clients to get the most out of life despite their hearing loss.

Outside of helping people with their hearing needs, I enjoy spending time with my wife Julie and our dog, Hank. I also enjoy playing golf, cooking, trying new restaurants, traveling and collecting vinyl.

Kristy Smith is a Patient Care Coordinator who works to make every patient feel welcome when they enter our offices.  She resides in Pelham with her husband and three children. Kristy attended the University of Montevallo where she obtained a B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology.

She joined our team in May 2018 and enjoys seeing the positive impact better hearing brings to our patients’ everyday lives.

Outside the office, Kristy enjoys watching football, spending time with her family and their 2 pups.
